- Description
- One on one tutoring of adults who need help with basic reading, writing or math skills. The Phoenix Kwantlen Learning Centre helps students acquire academic skills up to a grade 12 level. This is a free service provided to students who satisfy the program requirements. Teach an adult student to read! Help an adult student learn basic math! Provide encouragement to adult students who are transitioning back into the academic world. Skills Required: Patience and a willingness to make a difference in someone's life. Minimum grade 12. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Criminal record check required. Preference given to those who have prior teaching experience in K-12.
