SNAP (Surrey\'s Natural Areas Partnership)
SNAP is a community partnership created in 2001 to promote environmental stewardship in Surrey’s parks. Green Timbers Heritage Society, Sunnyside Acres Heritage Society and the White Rock & Surrey Naturalists Society have joined forces with the City of Surrey, and together we’re making a difference! Surrey is fortunate to have a diverse network of natural areas, from large urban forests, lakes and wetlands, to small neighbourhood parks. These natural areas require stewardship to protect against the many negative impacts that threaten their natural integrity. That’s where the SNAP program comes in!
