The Eurofest Magazine is an annual publication that celebrates European Heritage. The Magazine will be written in 2009 and five thousand copies will be distributed throughout 2010 in the Greater Vancouver region. Volunteer with us and gain valuable journalism, marketing, &/or photography experience. This 4th publication will be have 44+, colour, 8' x 5.5', pages and contain 32 articles. The magazine is published by the not-for-profit Eurofest BC Society which, among other things, hosts the European Festival which will take place on May 29th 2010. We require volunteers to do telephone interviews to obtain information to write one or more 400 word articles. A list of contacts, together with a set of questions, will be provided. We also need volunteer photographers to obtain a picture that would complement each of the articles. In addition, we need volunteers to contact businesses and organizations that may wish to advertise in the magazine.
