Web Linking Policy
VolWeb.ca™ encourages organizations, schools and companies to link to www.volweb.ca as a way of promoting volunteerism within their community.
A website can link to VolWeb.ca™ provided that it complies with the following guidelines:
- the link must be in plain text or use a graphic button provided by VolWeb.ca™;
- all links must lead to the homepage of VolWeb.ca™ (http://www.volweb.ca) rather than its inside pages;
- the link or graphic button cannot be used to create an unauthorized association with VolWeb.ca™ or 2010 Legacies Now;
- all links and related content must use proper wording when referring to VolWeb.ca™. Examples of proper wording include:
- VolWeb.ca™ connects volunteers with events in their community.
- Visit VolWeb.ca™ to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
- ABC Event is looking for volunteers. Visit VolWeb.ca™ to register as a volunteer.
